We love our Nigerian Dwarf goats. For us they are the perfect size and temperament. They’re very easy to handle since they weigh in around 50-70 pounds and are rarely over 23 inches in height. Living in Florida you really need to think of the scorching hot summers here. Nigerians are originally from the deserts in Africa so they are well suited for this neck of the woods. I can't say enough about their sweet docile temperament. It’s all I can do to not bring them inside! They are dairy goats and they pack a punch! Their high butterfat makes them a favorite for cheese making. Some of these little powerhouses can milk out at six pounds of milk per day! That’s a lot of milk!
